(UNDATED) - Ford is recalling 271,000 F-150 trucks with the model year 2013 to 2014, after receiving reports of nine crashes related to brake issues.
The company said the brake effectiveness in some of the vehicles could be reduced due to brake fluid leaking from the brake master cylinder into the brake booster, which increases the risk of a crash.
Ford said it's working with suppliers to get parts to dealers and will begin notifying customers the week of July 11.
