(HANCOCK CO.) - A Hancock County K9 helped officers make a drug arrest on Tuesday.
According to the Pro-Active Criminal Enforcement (PACE) task force, an officer with the Richmond Police Department conducted a traffic stop along eastbound I-70 in Henry County.
The officer observed multiple indications of criminal activity while speaking with the driver. The officer called a deputy from the Hancock County Sheriff's Department to assist him with the traffic stop.
The deputy deployed his narcotics detection K9 Manni, and Manni alerted the officers that drugs were present in the vehicle.
The officers discovered a large bag in the cargo area that contained six large vacuum-sealed bags of high grade marijuana and 55 e-cigarette vape cartridges. The street value of the seized drugs is $30,000.
26-year-old Adruan Telesforo Garcia Campos of San Jacinto, California was arrested and booked into the Henry County Jail for dealing marijuana.
