(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indianapolis Zoo officials have chosen the name “Mila” for their new baby orangutan.
"Mila," means "dear one" in Indonesian.
Mila, a female Sumatran orangutan, is now 6 weeks old. She is the second baby born to 23-year-old Sirih.
The Zoo says Mila has been introduced to most of the orangutans in the center, including her father Basan.
