(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indiana is one of the top collectors of so called “sin taxes.”
Sin taxes are collected from the sin industries, things like gambling, booze and cigarettes.
Indiana was one of the only states with a sin tax collection over $1 billion.
The state saw its biggest draws from casinos and tobacco products.
In the U.S., Pennsylvania is the top state in sin tax collection.
