(DETROIT) - Tundra, the 29-year-old polar bear has been moved from the Indianapolis Zoo to the Detroit Zoo.
She was taken there last weekend and began exploring for the first time Tuesday.
Tundra is in a 4 acre indoor and outdoor habitat with two 11-year-old bears, a male and female, three foxes and five seals at the zoo's Arctic Ring of Life exhibit.
Indianapolis Zoo said they were shutting down its polar exhibit for good. The exhibit opened in 1988, and is in need of an update.
