(OTWELL) - Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating an ATV accident that resulted in an Otwell man being hospitalized.
30-year-old Jacob Kaeck of Otwell was ejected from his ATV after hitting a rut on a dirt road and suffered a wrist injury. He was found by other ATV riders and transported to Memorial Hospital in Jasper.
The accident happened around 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Alcohol is believed to have been a contributing factor and Indiana Conservation Officers are still investigating the accident.
No ATV safety gear was worn, which Indiana Conservation Officers strongly recommend.
