(VIGO CO.) - A Terre Haute man was arrested Monday afternoon after Indiana State Police went to a home at 360 West Taylor Drive after a tip about possible meth activity in the home.
Indiana State Police Troopers from the Putnamville District Meth Suppression Unit descended upon the home just after 3 p.m. When they arrived they could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the residence. Upon further investigation troopers discovered 15 grams of suspected meth and nearly 2 grams of marijuana.
Police arrested 50-year-old George E. Cheesman on charges of possession of meth, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of drug paraphernalia and 43-year-old Mary Marshall, who also lived in the home on charges of dealing meth and marijuana, possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
