(INDIANAPOLIS) - Several media outlets are reporting that Donald Trump is planning to announce that Indiana Gov. Mike Pence is his choice for his vice presidential running mate.
The Indy Star posted a story this hour that it had confirmation on Trump's decision, but quoted Trump's national campaign spokeswoman, Hope Hicks, as saying "a decision has not been made."
The New York Times reports that Trumps campaign has signaled strongly to Republicans in Washington that he will pick Pence, "though Republicans caution the party's mercurial presidential candidate may still backtrack on his apparent choice."
The formal announcement will be made at an event at Trump Tower at 11 a.m. Friday morning.
