Name Released In Bicknell Death Investigation

(BICKNELL) - Police say 23-year-old Gerran Wilkes died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Knox County Coroner Brian Hagen says around 2:36 a.m. Sunday, police received a call reporting a person had died.

Police went to a home in the 400 Block of Main Street. The residence was the home of Wilkes' girlfriend.

Police say this is an ongoing investigation.
