(COLUMBUS) - A woman is charged with attacking officers because she couldn’t pass through a blocked road.
47-year-old Barbara Kennedy was arrested Tuesday night in Bartholomew County.
Deputies were investigating a hit-and-run crash near the intersection of Aspen Road and Brush Creek in Columbus when she tried to drive down the blocked road at around 10 p.m. When she wasn't able to drive that way, police say she became upset and began attacking the deputies.
Kennedy has been charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and battery on a police officer.
