(GREENSBURG) - A Columbus woman died in a three-car collision in Decatur County in which two people died and five were injured, including a Columbus man.

The Tribune reports, the wreck occurred at about 10:15 p.m. Friday on County Road 300N east of County Road 120E in Greensburg.

A maroon 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer, driven by Kenneth L. Bogue, 50, New Castle, pulling a 2008 U-Haul car trailer, and a white 2005 Toyota pickup truck, driven by Terry W. Robinson, 47, Columbus, were traveling eastbound on County Road 300N. A green 2007 Jeep Wrangler, driven by Matthew L. Hahn, 25, Greensburg, was traveling westbound on 300N. When the vehicles met in the roadway, the Wrangler struck the tires of the trailer the TrailBlazer was pulling. The Wrangler lost control, skidding into the path of and crashing head-on into the white pickup truck, which was behind the Trailblazer, according to an Indiana State Police news release.

A green Jeep Wrangler driven by Matthew L. Hahn, Greensburg, struck a white pickup truck driven by Terry W. Robinson, Columbus, on County Road 300N in Decatur County on Friday. Shelina Robinson, a passenger in the truck, died from injuries suffered in the accident. A passenger in the Wrangler, a 3-year-old boy, also died.

Shelina Robinson, 35, Columbus, a passenger in the pickup truck, was pronounced dead at the scene. Matthew Hahn Jr., 2, Greensburg, a passenger in the green 2007 Jeep Wrangler, was extricated from the vehicle and transported to Riley Hospital in Indianapolis, where he was pronounced dead, the state police said.

State Road 3 had been shut down Friday for road construction and traffic was diverted to the county roads, said Trooper Matt Holley, the accident reconstructionist. County Road 300N has no marked center lane, and each passing lane is 109 inches wide. The trailer was 102 inches wide. The Wrangler clipped a wheel well of the trailer, causing it to lose control and hit the pickup truck, Holley added.

Terry Robinson was injured and transported to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He is in stable condition, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Hahn and three of his passengers in the Wrangler, all of Greensburg, were injured and taken to hospitals. Hahn was transported to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. James Supler, 16, was transported to the Decatur County Memorial Hospital. Logan Debiase, 9, and Mataya Hahn, 3, were transported to Riley Hospital.

Bogue suffered no injuries.

Investigators believe none of the passengers in the Wrangler or the pickup truck were wearing seat belts. No alcohol or drugs are suspected at this time. The investigation continues.

Three medical helicopters responded to the scene. Those assisting were the Decatur County Sheriff's Department, Greensburg Fire Department, Clarksburg Fire Department and the Decatur County coroner.
