(INDIANAPOLIS) - Four Indianapolis-area men are facing federal racketeering charges for allegedly running three “interlocking fraud schemes” out of their business, Elite Car Imports.
RTV6 reports the investigation into Elite Car Imports' dealership at 46th Street and Keystone Avenue began last September.
Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) charges were announced Tuesday by the US Attorney's Office. Those charged are 39-year-old Mohamed Noshi Mahmoud, of Fishers, 23-year-old Mahdi Kehlifi, 28-year-old Issa Kayyali, and 26-year-old Hamza Dridi, all of Indianapolis.
All four defendants face up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
