(MIAMI CO.) - A Miami County man was electrocuted while exiting a tractor Tuesday.
According to a release from the Miami County Sheriff's Office, personnel responded to an unresponsive male located in a field near County Road 400 East and County Road 600 South around 5:30 p.m.
Authorities found 40-year-old Trevor Hughes of Miami County next to a tractor.
Hughes was spraying crops when one of the arms on the sprayer hit an electrical line, the release said.
Investigations showed Hughes was electrocuted when he exited his tractor. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The case is under investigation.
