Apply Online For Reserved Waterfowl, Pheasant, Deer Hunts

(UNDATED) - Hunters can apply online for a reserved hunt by visiting hunting.IN.gov and clicking on the “Reserved Hunt Info” link.

The online method is the only way to apply.

Applicants must possess a hunting license valid for the hunt for which they are applying.

To be accepted, applications must be completed by the application deadline.

Hunters will be selected through a computerized, random drawing. Drawing results will be posted at wildlife.IN.gov within two weeks after application deadlines, and an email will be sent to applicants when results are posted. Applications are currently open for:

Waterfowl hunt draw: Application must be completed by Sept 26. Applicants may choose up to five property and date combinations. Properties are Brookville and Monroe lakes, Goose Pond, LaSalle, Hovey, Kankakee, Kingsbury and Willow Slough fish & wildlife areas, and Province Pond Wetland Conservation Area. Successfully drawn applicants will be chosen for one (or more) of their five property and date choices. Participants must have a party of three hunters to hunt Monroe Lake. On all other properties, hunters must be accompanied by at least one but no more than two other hunters.
Pheasant put-n-take hunts: Application must be submitted by midnight on Nov. 30. There is a $28 per person fee to participate. Properties are Atterbury, Glendale, J.E. Roush Lake, Pigeon River (west of State Road 3), Tri-County, Willow Slough and Winamac fish & wildlife areas.
Bluffs of Beaver Bend Nature Preserve deer hunts: Applications must be submitted by Sept 26. Two hunts are available: a firearms hunt, Nov. 19-20; and a muzzleloader hunt, Dec. 10-11. Applicants are allowed to apply for themselves and one hunting partner. Deer harvested at this hunt are part of the hunter's statewide bag limit. Bonus antlerless licenses can be used. Martin County has a bonus antlerless county quota of four.

Only one application per hunt is allowed. No changes can be made once the application is submitted. More information is at wildlife.IN.gov/5834.htm.
