(JOHNSON CO.) - The Johnson County Sheriff’s Department is asking for your help locating a suspect after he allegedly fled from officers.
Sheriff Doug Cox says that police were investigating a Wednesday morning burglary in Nineveh that resulted in the theft of a handgun. He says that when confronted, the man fled and was able to escape.
Cox says the man was spotted inside a Nineveh business, where security camera still were captured. He was last seen wearing a short sleeve shirt and camo shorts wearing a baseball cap backwards on his head.
