(INDIANAPOLIS) - A Marion County inmate died Friday night.
27-year-old Nicholas Grant was found unresponsive in his cell at Marion County Jail II around 9:50 p.m. He was declared dead just after 10:30 p.m.
Metro Police, the Marion County Sheriff's Office, the Marion County Coroner's Office and the Marion County Forensic Services Agency are all investigating. Their initial findings are that Grant did not die of violence or suicide.
He was being held on charges of resisting law enforcement, disorderly conduct and criminal confinement.
