(JEFFERSONVILLE) - Early Thursday morning around 12:30 a.m., trooper Andrew Taylor stopped a red Ford F-150 pickup truck for a traffic infraction.
The stop took place at U.S. 31 and Court Avenue in Jeffersonville.
As trooper Taylor was talking to the occupants of the vehicle he could smell Marijuana coming from the vehicle. He called for assistance from other officers and after the officers arrived trooper Taylor searched the red Ford F-150. During the search he located approximately one ounce of marijuana, approximately ten grams of meth, approximately ten grams of cocaine, approximately three grams of heroin and drug paraphernalia.
More than $400 in U.S. Currency was also seized. The approximate street value of the drugs seized is approximately $2,300.
Trooper Taylor arrested the driver, 34-year-old Corey T. Parker, of Jeffersonville, and his passenger were arrested on felony charges of dealing and possessing meth, dealing and possessing cocaine, dealing and possessing of heroin, maintaining a common nuisance and a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana.
Another passenger 46-year-old Mlissa M. Needler, of Jeffersonville, was arrested on felony charges of dealing and possessing meth, dealing and possessing cocaine, dealing and possessing of heroin, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of a syringe and a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana. She was also wanted on a warrant for a probation violation in Clark County.
All three were incarcerated at the Clark County Jail.
