(GEORGETOWN) - Two people are being held at the Floyd County Jail after police find drugs, drug paraphernalia and a stolen firearm in their home.
According to a release, the Georgetown Police Department had been investigating after several reported thefts from cars in the area.
Officers with the Georgetown Police and the New Albany Police Department SWAT team served a warrant after receiving information that stolen items could be found at a residence on Fairmont Avenue in New Albany.
Officers found narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and the stolen firearm in connection with the thefts.
48-year-old Bruce K. Crone and 45-year-old Dallas R. Kelly were arrested on the scene.
Both are facing drug charges, and are charged with maintaining a common nuisance. Crone is also charged with theft.
