(UNDATED) - A new study says eating a handful of nuts a day can help keep you healthy.
Results from the data of more than 800,000 people showed that those who ate all types of nuts cut their risk of dying from heart disease by 30 percent, and the risk of cancer by 15-percent.
Premature death was also 22 percent lower for people who ate nuts regularly. nuts are high in fat but have plenty of fiber and protein and can help reduce the risk of obesity over time as well.
