(CLOVERDALE) - On Tuesday afternoon at 4 p.m., Indiana State Police Trooper Colton Maynor was conducting a traffic stop on US 231 in Cloverdale, when a second and unrelated vehicle drove up behind Trooper Maynor’s police car.
The female driver of the second vehicle immediately told Trooper Maynor that her boyfriend was wanted on a warrant and he had witnessed the police cruiser of Maynor's, panicked, and jumped from her car.
She gave a physical description of the male and at approximately 4:30 p.m., Trooper Maynor noticed him walking near US 231 and activated his lights.
The suspect fled on foot and evaded officers until approximately 5 p.m., when officers found the suspect on the floor of the US Post Office in Cloverdale.
Police arrested 30-year-old Adam Lee Falk, of Spencer on a warrant for violation of probation for invasion of privacy and new charges of resisting law enforcement.
Assisting were ISP Trooper James Crisp, Putnam County Sheriff's Deputy Matt Biggs, and Cloverdale Police Sergeant Charlie Hallam.
