(PIKE CO.) - Friday night around 7 p.m. Indiana State Police Trooper Alexander Welsh was patrolling I-69 near the 41 mile-marker when he observed a 2012 Nissan traveling northbound at a high rate speed.
Trooper Welsh clocked the vehicle at 113 miles per hour, as the driver was passing three other vehicles.
The driver, 25-year-old Drew Jones of Nashville, TN, was arrested on a Class B misdemeanor charge of reckless driving.
He was taken to the Pike County Jail where he was later released after posting a $350 cash bond.
