(INDIANAPOLIS) - Serving as the new face of the Indiana Cable Telecommunications Association (ICTA), the Broadband Innovation Group launched today to represent Indiana’s fastest and most connected service providers.
Just as technology is transforming business, education, healthcare, and entertainment, ICTA is adapting to reflect the vibrancy and spirit of innovation of the industry.
With the industry shift toward new technologies, Broadband Innovation Group will stay ahead of the curve by creating more conversations about how connectivity affects the state. Its focus will be advocating for policy that is technology-neutral, promotes cutting-edge infrastructure investments, and provides for a level playing field for broadband providers. The group will also place a special emphasis on digital literacy programs and broadband adoption.
"We believe in a technology and entertainment future that will advance innovation, inspire creativity, unleash connectivity and exceed consumer expectations for a wide range of high-quality services," said Joni Hart, Executive Director of Broadband Innovation Group.
