(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indiana lawmakers could be ready to take the next step to ban sanctuary campuses in the state.
The Indiana House could consider a plan this week which would ban public universities in the state from defying federal immigration orders.
The state Senate already approved the plan.
No university in the state has declared itself a sanctuary campus, but supporters of the plan say they want to stop them before they do.
