(Washington, D.C) - Tuesday, U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly received the ‘Spirit of Enterprise’ award from the United States Chamber of Commerce in recognition of his support for economic growth for Hoosier workers and businesses.
Donnelly said, "My focus has always been on expanding economic opportunities for businesses and families across Indiana, because every Hoosier who wants a job should be able to get one. I am honored to receive this award, which is reflective of our work with Hoosier businesses to create jobs and strengthen our economy."
Thomas J. Donohue, president and CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, said, "Businesses of all shapes and sizes need sound, commonsense policy in place in order to get off the ground, grow, and succeed. The Spirit of Enterprise Award recognizes those members of Congress who have done what's right for our friends, family, and neighbors running businesses across the country.
