(UNDATED) - A recall notice is out for Hunt’s Chili Kits because one of the ingredients might be contaminated with salmonella.
The voluntary recall was announced yesterday.
The Food and Drug Administration says a supplier told the company there could be salmonella in the chili seasoning.
No salmonella has turned up in the finished product but the company is recalling the chili kits out of what it calls an "abundance of caution."
People who bought a Hunt's Chili Kit should return the product to the store where they bought it.
