(UNDATED) - Four drug manufacturers - Apotex Inc., Teva Pharmaceuticals USA Inc., Aurobindo Pharma Ltd. and Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd.- gained U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval to market a generic form of Strattera (atomoxetine) which is used to treat attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder.
The FDA action came just three days after patent protection expired for the Eli Lilly & Co. drug.
