(TERRE HAUTE) - Students at Indiana State University will be paying more over the next two years.
ISU's board of trustees approved a 1.9 percent increase in tuition. That brings the total cost to go to ISU without room and board to $4,458 in 2017. The following year, tuition will rise to $4,545.
ISU Finance vice president Dianne McKee says the increase is for supplementing bumps in wages for regular employees, as well as student workers.
