(JASPER) - State highway officials say lane restrictions are scheduled to begin on or around Monday on US 231 near Jasper for a bridge deck overlay project.
Southbound lanes will be restricted at the bridge spanning the East Fork of Mill Creek, about two miles south of the State Road 56 intersection.
Lanes will be restricted to 13 feet, including the shoulders.
Any loads wider than 13 feet should find an alternate route.
The restrictions will be in place around the clock with traffic controlled by temporary signals.
Lane restrictions will switch to the northbound lanes when crews are finished in the southbound lanes.
Work is expected to last until late October, weather permitting.
