(UNDATED) - Long waits in security check lines and hours sitting in a cramped space and loud complaints about disrespectful airline passenger incidents haven’t dampened America’s appetite for flying.
Talk Media News reports, according to the Transportation Security Administration, the summer vacation months are expected to produce the highest number of airline passengers in years.
TSA predicted an average of 2.5 million travelers per day will be screened at airport security checkpoints.
So far, the busiest air travel day has been June 30, the Friday before Independence Day, when 2.6 million passengers and crew were screened before boarding their aircraft.
