(UNDATED) - The Indiana Department of Transportation will begin work on a bridge spanning Hunley Creek on U.S. 231 between Huntingburg and Jasper next week.
On Monday, August 7th, contractors will begin restricting the southbound lane of the U.S. 231 to perform a bridge deck overlay project. Temporary traffic signals will be in place.
Wide loads over 13 feet should find an alternate route.
Work is expected to last until mid-October.
INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews.
