(ROCKVILLE) - Indiana Conservation Officers responded to a call about a man with a serious leg injury on Cecil M. Harden Lake.
The incident took place around 12:40 p.m. Sunday as 45-year-old James Crane of Covington was attempting to keep two parked boats separated when he fell overboard. He struck his lower leg on one of the boats, causing a deep laceration. Crane was airlifted to Indianapolis for emergency medical treatment.
Indiana Conservation Officers are currently investigating the incident, although no foul play is suspected at this time.
Bellmore Volunteer Fire Department, Parke County EMS, and Parke County Sheriff's Department assisted at the scene.
