(YOUNG AMERICA) - Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating an off-road vehicle incident involving injury in Cass County.
At approximately 2:49 p.m. Sunday, first responders were called to the area of 1150 County Road East and Picket Road.
Taylor Miller, 32, was operating a 2002 Yamaha dirt bike southbound on County Road 1150 East when he attempted to pass a friend who was operating another ORV. As Taylor started to make the pass, he hit a gravel patch and lost control to of the bike causing him to crash.
Taylor sustained a broken nose, broken clavicle and broken ribs in the incident.
Taylor was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident which likely prevented any other serious or life threatening injuries.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the incident.
