(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - Pro-Trump political action committee Indiana First PAC announced its formation this week, targeting several hotly contested Congressional races in the Hoosier state.
"We are grateful for the surge in support in our first week," PAC Policy Director Grant Edwards said. "Hoosiers played a vital role in President Trump's victory last November. We hope to grow that coalition heading into 2018."
Founded by seasoned campaign veterans, the organization aims to influence 500,000 Indiana voters ahead of 2018. With an eye on several key races, the group is preparing to support candidates in the Republican primaries to succeed Congressmen Todd Rokita and Luke Messer.
"We are actively assessing a handful of talented candidates who are campaigning on an America First agenda," Edwards said. "Our leadership team will announce a first round of endorsements in the coming weeks."
