(UNDATED) - The Bureau of Labor Statistics calculated a 0.4 percent increase in the Consumer Price Index in November, citing rising gasoline prices for most of it.
The CPI rose 2.2 percent over the past 12 months, the BLS said.
In November, gasoline prices rose 7.3 percent, accounting for about three-fourths of the month's CPI increase.
