(MORGAN CO.) - Indiana Conservation Officers investigated an off-road vehicle crash that injured an 11-year-old boy on Whetstine Road, just north of Railroad Road in Morgan County.
Around 1:30 p.m., the male was on a Monster Moto mini bike and following his grandpa who was on a lawn mower. The juvenile attempted to turn around in the roadway when he pulled in front of a Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by 62-year-old Wayne Luther, of Indianapolis.
The juvenile suffered injuries to his wrist, torso and leg. He was transported to IU Health-Morgan Hospital and transferred to Riley Hospital for Children. He is listed in stable condition.
Luther did not sustain any injuries due to the crash.
Neither the juvenile nor Luther were wearing any safety gear at the time of the crash.
Drugs or alcohol are not believed to be a contributing factor in this crash.
