(INDIANAPOLIS) - State revenue in December was $8.5 million above the most recent forecast.
The Indiana State Budget Agency says last month's total of more than $1.3 billion is more than $20 million above the same month in 2016.
The General Fund revenue totals beat projections by 0.6 percent.
The estimates are based on the revenue forecast, which was most recently adjusted last month.
Individual income tax collections, corporate tax collections and riverboat wagering collections were all above the monthly estimate in December.
