(PETERSBURG) - Petersburg Police say sting operations to find online child predators have resulted in two arrests.
Police used decoys acting as young children on social media sites.
The male subjects contacted the decoys online.
After having a sexually explicit conversation with a supposed 14-year-old child, Police say 44-year-old Keith Stanton of Princeton made plans to meet her.
Petersburg Police Officers arrested Stanton when he arrived to meet the decoy.
The same situation applied to the arrest of 22-year-old Austin Martin of Otwell who was arrested Saturday after showing up to meet who he thought was a 13-year-old girl after having a sexually explicit online conversation.
