(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Arbor Day Poster Contest Committee has selected the top 12 posters for 2018.
These posters following the theme " Trees are Terrific in Every Shape and Size" will be featured in a full color calendar that is provided to schools across the state with 5th grade classes.
It's is up to you to help us select our winners. Winning classes are provided with trees along with STEM focused prize packages.
Top 12 Posters
Voting Closes Wednesday, April 25 at Noon.
Winners will be announced on Arbor Day, Friday, April 27 on the Indiana Division of Forestry Facebook Page.
You can only vote once for your favorite but feel free to share the voting link with friends and family far and wide.
Thank you to all the AMAZING 5th Grade Teachers who took the time to have their students participate in the 2018 competition! We had more than 160 class winning posters submitted with a reported 3,520 students creaWe hope to continue to grow the program and we cannot do it without you!
The Indiana Arbor Day Poster Contest (ADPC) Committee is an ad hoc committee of the Indiana Arborist Association and chaired by the Community and Urban Forestry program within the Indiana DNR. The committee is made up of ISA Certified Arborists, Tree Steward Volunteers, state and local government representatives. Sponsors of the contest include: Indiana DNR Community and Urban Forestry, NIPSCO, Indiana Chapter of the Society of American Foresters, Davey Resource Group, Arbor Rangers LLC, and ArborMetrics.
