(UNDATED) - If you have closets or an attic full of toys that no one plays with, you can give them new life.
Toy maker Hasbro is launching a toy recycling pilot program. It encourages people to send back well-loved toys and games that will be recycled and used to build play spaces, flower pots and park benches.
The program is open to all Hasbro toys and games, action figures, and even plush toys.
"That's really a great way for kids take an active role, as well as their parents, to make sure we can enjoy a great environment in the years and decades ahead," said Hasbro's John Frascotti.
The company does not accept "ride on" products such as bicycles and scooters, or baby products like playpens or car seats.
