UNDATED) - Health officials say the E.coli outbreak is spreading.
14 additional illnesses have been reported since the last update on Wednesday, bringing the total to at least 98 cases across 22 states.
Although no cases have been reported in Indiana yet, cases have been reported in Illinois, Michigan and Ohio.
Stic Harris from the FDA says it's best to avoid all forms of romaine lettuce.
Officials say this particular strain of the bacteria is more severe and has a higher hospitalization rate than usual, of over 50-percent.
