Partnership Expands Resources For Systems Of Care Throughout Indiana

Last updated on Tuesday, April 10, 2018

(UNDATED) - The Lutheran Foundation, through their mental health initiative, LookUpIndiana.org (LookUp) has partnered with Indiana System of Care (INSOC) to provide online resources to support Systems of Care in all 92 Indiana counties.

Through the new My Community area of the LookUp website, users can find news, resources, and events for their county related to System of Care and mental/behavioral health.

My Community allows a System of Care Coordinator, or other community partners in each county, the ability to populate the content most relevant to their community's needs. This could include resources such as wraparound program access site information, local System of Care information, local county events for mental health and more.

Kylie Riecken, System of Care Coordinator for Allen County, Indiana, expressed her enthusiasm and appreciation of this new resource. "This is a game changer for System of Care", states Riecken. "This not only allows Allen County to better share resources within our area, but also allows us to see what other Systems of Care are doing throughout the state. Sharing best practices helps us better serve our communities."

"LookUp is a resource for the community, built by the community", said Kristina Johnson, Director of Community Initiatives with The Lutheran Foundation. "Working collaboratively enables LookUp to be a more comprehensive resource. It is exciting to have public and private sectors working together. We are proud to deliver this service for Indiana's System of Care."

This announcement comes on the heels of another recent addition to LookUp, The Indiana School Mental Health Initiative, which provides training and resources to school personnel focusing on the social, emotional, behavioral and mental health needs of Indiana's students. You can read more on that initiative here.
