(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indiana Republican Party Chairman Kyle Hupfer released the following statement, as Indiana Democrats Saturday formally nominated their 2018 statewide ticket at their convention in Indianapolis:
"There's a reason why time and again, Hoosier voters consistently choose to elect Republicans to lead our state government offices. Whether it's Secretary of State Connie Lawson's work to make it easier to vote but hard to cheat, Treasurer Kelly Mitchell's work to help hardworking Hoosier families save for college or Auditor Tera Klutz's work increasing transparency and openness in state government finances, Indiana Republicans have a proven track record of delivering results for Hoosiers.
"It's easy to contrast the proven results that Connie Lawson, Kelly Mitchell and Tera Klutz are providing Hoosiers with the failed ideas, debt, dysfunction and out-of-control spending that are the hallmarks of Indiana Democrats. Our Republican, all-female statewide ticket is helping lead Indiana into the 21st Century, and we're excited to work to make sure they win in November.
