(PUTNAM CO.) - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces a small structure replacement project will close State Road 240 just over one and one half mile west of State Road 75 on or after Thursday, July 5.
The detour utilizes U.S. 40 and U.S. 231. The roadway is scheduled to reopen August 19.
The project was awarded to Halverson Construction, Inc. for $157,067.
INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone.
