(HARRISON CO.) - This morning shortly after 7:30 a.m., a blue 2007 Honda, driven by 36-year-old Lisa B. Hodges, from Owensboro, KY, was east on Interstate 64 when the vehicle left the roadway and went over the embankment on the south side of the interstate.
After leaving the roadway, the vehicle struck a tree with the passenger's side of the car.
It is unknown why the vehicle left the roadway.
Hodges, was pronounced dead at the scene. She was wearing a seat belt.
Indiana State Police Crash Reconstructionist investigated the scene.
The Harrison County Sheriff's Office and the Harrison County Coroner assisted in this investigation.
