Laws Protecting Hoosier Children

Last updated on Monday, July 23, 2018

(INDIANAPOLIS) - This year, House Republicans passed many new laws protecting Hoosier children.

State Rep. Sharon Negele (R-Attica) explains a new law helping locate children with disabilities who wander away more quickly.

A new law will help develop tools to better support foster children through their education, according to State Rep. Dale DeVon (R-Granger).

And State Rep. Bob Behning (R-Indianapolis) says a new law allowing fire departments staffed 24/7 to install newborn safety devices known as baby boxes has already saved a life in his community.
