Amanda sustained 3 broken ribs, lung injuries, a broken scapula and lacerations to the head in the incident. She was transported to IU Arnett Hospital via Wolcott Ambulance and Tippecanoe Ambulance to receive medical treatment.

Police say, alcohol is believed to be a factor and the accident is still under investigation at this time.

Boles was not wearing a helmet or any other safety equipment at the time of the crash. Conservation Officers want to stress the importance of helmets and refraining from drugs or alcohol when riding an Off-Road Vehicle.
