(INDIANAPOLIS) - A Superior Court judge is ordering Governor Eric Holcomb’s office to hand over emails between Vice President Mike Pence, President Trump’s campaign, and an Indiana air conditioning manufacturer.
Trump announced shortly after his election in 2016 that he and Pence had reached a deal with Carrier Systems to keep hundreds of manufacturing jobs in Indianapolis instead of moving them to Mexico.
An activist group called the Citizens Action Coalition has been asking to see the emails surrounding that deal for months but the governor's office hasn't sent them.
A judge yesterday gave Holcomb's office 30 days to comply.
