(EVANSVILLE) - An Evansville woman has been charged with child neglect after her three-year-old daughter ended up in the emergency room Thursday.
Court documents say 24-year-old Tabitha Sims was booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail after doctors say her daughter had a broken collar bone, two breaks in her arm, a hemorrhage in her eye, bruises on her face, and scratches on her back.
Police says Sims told them the girl got the injuries from doing flips and gymnastics in the house and that she didn't seem bothered by the injuries and didn't bother to take her to the hospital.
