(INDIANAPOLIS) - With the new push to increase the state’s cigarette tax, a University of Indianapolis Public Health professor says the real problem in Indiana is vaping.
Professor Carolyn Runge says e-cigarette use is up 80-percent among Hoosier teenagers and that when it comes down to it, vaping and traditional smoking are equally as unhealthy for you.
She says a way to bring those numbers down is to include vaping products in the state's cigarette tax.
