(OSCEOLA) — A northern Indiana man awaiting sentencing in a hit-and-run crash that killed two children and a man is now charged in an alleged drunken-driving crash.
The Elkhart Truth reports 43-year-old Leonard Grosswiler was arrested on a misdemeanor count of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and endangering a person's life, following Tuesday's head-on crash in Osceola that involved two other vehicles.
WNDU-TV reports police say Grosswiler had a blood-alcohol content of 0.088. Indiana's legal limit is 0.08 percent.
A judge has revoked Grosswiler's bail in the August 2017 hit-and-run case.
The Mishawaka man pleaded guilty last month to leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death and other charges in that crash.
His wife, Penelope Grosswiler, pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice. Their sentencing hearings are set for Dec. 12.
